Is panama City a Party destination during the summer or for families?

I know that Spring break at Panama City is notorious for their parties but is it the same in the summer. My friends and I were looking at going to PCB this summer and were looking for a party. Will we find it or should we look at other beach locations?

Panma City is attempting to clean up it’s image.Yes the area is still a party area .It is known nation wide as a “spring Break” mecca,how ever as summer comes around more families are coming to the beach and the city is making attemps to make Panama City more of a Family friendly vacation destination.
The summer parting is not as intense as spring break.
